Building Stronger Communities

Magnolia CDC is a 501(c)3 non-profit community development corporation established in 2010 and serve St. Landry and Lafayette Parishes.  It provides social, economic and community development assistance to its targeted population, low to moderate income families, in building sustainable communities.

Its vision is to build sustainable communities that provide the potential for homeownership to all its residents, accessibility to quality education, increased family income and wealth and building economic activity through business development.

"Magnolia CDC is governed by a dedicated Board of Directors chosen for their commitment to community development."

What We Do

The CDC’s mission is to provide affordable housing opportunities, stimulate investment in stagnant or declining communities and improve the quality of life for low to moderate income families.  We believe that our mission is best achieved by partnering with community stakeholders that include neighborhood residents, public services providers, local, state and federal governments and local businesses.
